HEM Data Corporation is dedicated to creating first-class PC-based and embedded software and system solutions to help engineers and scientists convert physical phenomena into useful information. Our goal is to create software products, complete systems and analyzers that make it easy to measure and analyze data from any Hydraulic, Electrical, or Mechanical system using standard computer hardware and software.

HEM = Hydraulics + Electrical + Mechanical

The acronym HEM represents the engineering disciplines: Hydraulic, Electrical/Electronic, and Mechanical. HEM also represents the biomedical term, Hemodynamics, which is the study of blood flow and pressure, the original company focus. Our middle name, Data, is based on our expertise in acquiring and analyzing data. These disciplines define the strengths and target markets of the company. HEM Data personnel also have a strong automotive and heavy duty vehicle background including several patents in electronic diesel fuel injection systems while working at Bendix Corporation. These patents were purchased by Cummins Corporation.

HEM Data Corporation was incorporated in February 1986 to commercialize, market, and expand the data acquisition and analysis software technologies and system solutions to the general scientific and engineering community. The goal is to provide a highly integrated, low-cost alternative to conventional data acquisition systems and instrumentation.

The backgrounds of HEM personnel include hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer, automotive, and biomedical engineering. They have extensive experience in dynamic testing to define product performance, durability, reliability, and quality. HEM Data software and system products are developed by engineers and scientists specifically for other scientists and engineers.

HEM Data is a world-leader in developing data acquisition, display, analysis, diagnostic, and control software and systems. HEM Data has introduced many state-of-the-art features and is known as the high-speed leader in PC-based data acquisition. The software and systems are used by engineers, researchers, scientists, and manufacturing companies in a variety of applications, to acquire, control/generate, display, store/retrieve, analyze, diagnose, and present information.

Distribution of HEM Data's products is worldwide primarily through direct sales, plus a network of value-added resellers, I/O hardware manufacturing companies, and system integrators.
